The Problems
Problems faced by the current review platforms
The traditional review systems suffer from several problems that KalloView aims to address:
Lack of Trust: Traditional reviews can be manipulated or biased, leading to a lack of trust among users. Fake reviews, paid reviews, or reviews from anonymous sources undermine the credibility of the feedback.
Centralized Control: Traditional review platforms are often controlled by a central authority, giving them the power to manipulate or censor reviews based on their own interests. This centralized control limits transparency and can result in biased information.
Incentive Misalignment: Reviewers on traditional platforms are not always incentivized to provide accurate and honest feedback. In some cases, reviewers may be motivated by personal gain or hidden agendas, compromising the integrity of the review process.
Limited Accessibility: Traditional review systems are often restricted to specific industries or geographies, limiting the scope and availability of comprehensive reviews. This lack of accessibility hinders users in making well-informed decisions.
Lack of Accountability: Traditional reviews typically lack a robust mechanism for verifying the authenticity and credibility of reviewers. This makes it challenging to hold reviewers accountable for their feedback and reduces the overall quality of the review ecosystem.
